Founded in 2021, the company has delivered smart automation projects for leading residential, commercial, hospitality, and healthcare brands across the UAE and KSA. From single smart homes to multi-unit, multi-building deployments managed through its proprietary cloud-based IoT platform. The company blends design-led hardware with a software ecosystem for centralized device management, energy monitoring, and workflow automation, and is now scaling its presence in the Kingdom.

The Role

We're looking for an Automation Engineer to lead technical delivery of smart home and smart building projects in KSA - from site inspection through installation, integration, and commissioning - while also becoming a key client-facing point of contact. This role is central to the company's KSA growth plan: it will take on client communication and implementation ownership currently handled by the sales team, freeing sales capacity to expand into new markets (including Kuwait), while you take on more end-to-end project delivery independently.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Delivery

• Conduct technical site inspections; understand client requirements for automation devices, scenarios, and scenes, and validate site constraints.
• Manage design, configuration, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of smart wireless systems (Zigbee, Wi-Fi) across lighting, curtains, HVAC, AV, alarm, and security applications.
• Develop automation layouts and wiring diagrams; troubleshoot on-site or remotely as needed.
• Coordinate and evaluate new device/integration methods, running workshop and site trials for proof-of-concept solutions.

Client & Project Coordination

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients through installation, integration, and handover — owning day-to-day client communication that has historically sat with sales.
• Direct and coordinate technicians on-site: confirm site readiness with contractors/clients, ensure teams are briefed, and stock/consumables are available (coordinating with Procurement).
• Ensure productive site time, smooth project handovers, and timely delivery against contract requirements.
• Join site visits with Sales to assess customer requirements and support pre-sales device testing.

Solution Development & Learning

• Support the evaluation of new customer and site needs alongside Sales and coordinate proof-of-concept installations.
• Build working knowledge of the company's IoT platform, project design, and execution processes; expand understanding of third-party device integration into the ecosystem.
• Work closely with the regional Pre-Sales team on technical scoping and solution design.
• Follow all company health & safety policies and procedures on-site.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in home/building automation, ELV, or smart systems installation and integration.
• Strong understanding of the KSA home automation market and available products.
• Hands-on experience with wireless automation protocols (Zigbee, Wi-Fi) and associated devices (lighting, curtains, HVAC, AV, security/alarm).
• Comfortable coordinating installation teams and acting as a technical liaison with clients and contractors.
• Strong communication skills — this role carries real client-facing responsibility, not just back-end technical delivery.

Nice to Have

• Prior ELV project coordination or supervisory experience.
• Exposure to IoT platforms, device integration, or smart building software ecosystems.
