About the client:

Our client is a leading engineering solutions provider specializing in the design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of beverage processing systems and sanitary piping infrastructure. They serve clients across the F&B, dairy, and brewery industries, delivering turnkey engineering solutions with a focus on quality, innovation, and regulatory compliance.


This is a full-time on-site role as an Automation Engineer at our location in Shah Alam. As an Automation Engineer, your day-to-day tasks will involve troubleshooting, process control, electrical engineering, PLC programming and SCADA/HMI programming. You will be responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining automated systems and equipment
to optimize production processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for design and execution of electrical, instrumentation and programming work.
  • Develop PLC program and HMI graphics as per project requirements.
    Conduct internal hardware & software integrated testing and Factory Acceptance Test.
  • Conduct testing & commissioning and Site Acceptance Test at customers site.
  • Liaise with stakeholder, contractors, and vendors.
  • Site troubleshooting for electrical wiring or/and program.
  • Undertake any other tasks assigned by Manager. Skills and Knowledge
  • Experienced in IEC 61131-3 standard PLC programming, mainly Ladder Logic, FBD and Structured Text.
  • Experienced with PLC, Drive systems, and HMI programming.
  • Experience with Siemens PLC will be an added advantage.
  • Possess electrical drawing knowledge.
  • Competent in process control, process automation through PLC and SCADA/HMI programming.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 2 years with relevant working experience.
  • Willing to travel outstation/overseas, if required.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
