Job Description

Kroll is seeking an AI & Automation developer based in India. This role will drive enterprise-wide efficiency by advancing Kroll’s automation and AI capabilities, working closely with the AI Enablement Team.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer who can translate complex business challenges into scalable automation and AI solutions, lead large teams, and continuously evolve Kroll’s automation capabilities through innovation, emerging technologies, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Development

  • Develop and maintain automation workflows using Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop).
  • Support enhancement and bug fixing of existing automation solutions.
  • Assist in building Power Apps integrations where required.
  • Configure connectors, APIs, and data integrations across systems.

UiPath to Power Automate Migration Support

  • Analyze existing UiPath bots and document workflows.
  • Rebuild and test automations in Power Automate under supervision.
  • Perform functional and regression testing during migration.
  • Assist in documenting migration activities and technical specifications.

AI-Enabled Automation

  • Support implementation of AI Builder, document processing, and basic AI integrations.
  • Assist in integrating APIs (e.g., OCR, NLP, ML models) into workflows.
  • Participate in testing and validating AI-based automation outputs.

Testing & Documentation

  • Prepare technical documentation, process design documents (PDD), and solution design documents (SDD).
  • Conduct unit testing and support UAT activities.
  • Maintain version control and follow established development standards.
  • Log issues, track defects, and support production deployments.

Operational Support

  • Monitor automation performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide L1/L2 support for deployed automations.
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in RPA or workflow automation.
  • Basic hands-on experience with:
    • Microsoft Power Automate (preferred) or UiPath
    • API integrations (REST basics)
    • Excel automation, file handling, email automation
  • Understanding of automation lifecycle (PDD, SDD, UAT, deployment).
  • Basic knowledge of databases (SQL fundamentals).
  • Familiarity with JSON, data formats, and connectors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to both UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Knowledge of AI Builder or basic AI/ML concepts.
  • Microsoft Power Platform or UiPath certification (Foundation level).
  • Experience with version control tools (Git/Azure DevOps).

Basic knowledge of Power Apps and Dataverse.
