In this role, you'll:
Lead the delivery and integration of the Automated Access Assessment Program (AAAP) and associated National Automated Access System (NAAS) initiatives. Representing Road Freight Operations as the subject matter expert, it ensures operational, regulatory, and road access considerations are embedded in program design and delivery to support efficient, automated access outcomes across the NSW road network.
Be responsible for aligning automation initiatives with freight access policy and operational practices, while responding to stakeholder needs. It collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to support freight efficiency, road safety, and national consistency, ensuring automated access processes deliver measurable benefits for industry, government, and the community.
Advise internal and external stakeholders on the strategic and operational application of automated access systems, promoting national alignment and supporting road manager responsibilities under the Heavy Vehicle National Law.

About you
Demonstrated experience in project managing and delivering technology-enabled change across regulatory or operational settings.
A strong understanding of freight access management, road network operations, and Heavy Vehicle National Law requirements as they relate to access arrangements.
Ideally come from a project planning and /or project management background where you’ve been required to manage a wide array of stakeholders in complex design and delivery environments with interaction across a large, complex organisation.
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent and relevant experience.
