About the role:

We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Autoclave Operators at our Mascot site. This critical role involves operating large-scale industrial machinery used to sterilize bio-security waste.

This position is based within a dedicated quarantined room, requiring strict adherence to bio-security protocols and environmental controls. It is a physical, hands-on role essential to maintaining the high safety standards of the facility.

Shift Availability

With 14 shifts running across 7 days a week, we offer excellent flexibility. We are looking for candidates to cover:

• Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Weekend availability is highly regarded

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate large-scale autoclave machinery within a quarantined environment.
• Monitor machine cycles and document results to ensure compliance with bio-security protocols.
• Handle and transport waste materials efficiently while maintaining the integrity of the quarantine zone.
• Adhere strictly to all site-specific safety and hygiene standards.

What we are looking for

• Reliability Punctuality is essential for the smooth running of our operations.
• Attention to Detail Ability to follow precise instructions and maintain bio-security integrity.
• Physical Fitness Ability to manage the physical demands of a machinery-based role in a specialised room.
• Communication Good verbal and written communication for reporting and handovers.
• Experience Previous experience in industrial cleaning, sanitation, or machinery operation (Preferred but not essential).
• Training Provided We offer comprehensive online & on-site training to ensure you are fully confident in operating the machinery and understanding all quarantine and compliance requirements.
