Position Title: AutoCAD Technician

About the Role

An experienced and detail-oriented AutoCAD Technician is required to support the design and development of door and window systems This role focuses on precision drafting, creative problem-solving, and close collaboration with production teams to ensure every design is both functional and aesthetically refined.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for custom doors, windows, and related joinery systems.

• Work with architects, designers, and clients to translate concepts into accurate technical designs.

• Develop shop drawings, fabrication details, and installation guides.

• Ensure all drawings meet project specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

• Adjust and update designs based on client feedback or production needs.

• Collaborate with production and installation teams to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and on schedule.

• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and technical documentation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Technician, ideally within joinery, carpentry, or building systems.

• Strong portfolio of design work in doors, windows, or custom furniture.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting/design software.

• Knowledge of materials, joinery techniques, and construction processes.

• High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, build-ready drawings.

• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.

• A creative problem solver who enjoys turning complex requirements into elegant technical solutions.
