  The role involves preparing detailed technical drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD and related design tools for IT infrastructure, physical security, and data center projects.

  Interpreting project specifications, collaborating with engineers and project managers, updating drawings based on field feedback, and ensuring all designs meet relevant standards and client requirements.
• 
  Maintain organized drawing files, support documentation for proposals and installations, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to align designs with project timelines and quality expectations.
• 
  Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, architectural plans, and technical specifications related to IT, low-current, or physical security systems.
• 
  Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with engineers, project managers, and on-site teams.

Requirements

• 
  Prior experience in an IT systems integrator, or engineering firm in Cairo or the wider region is a plus.
• 
  Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD/design tools, with the ability to produce accurate 2D drawings and technical layouts.
• 
  Solid understanding of basic engineering and design principles, preferably in network infrastructure, cabling, data centers, or security systems.
• 
  Good organizational and documentation skills, including maintaining drawing registers, version control, and project records.
• 
  Proficiency with MS Office and basic IT tools, familiarity with industry standards and local regulations is an advantage.
