The Warehouse Worker II plays a key role in daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, loading and unloading merchandise, inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining accurate and timely processing of all warehouse tasks.
Qualifications
- Excellent attendance and punctuality are required.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to follow instructions and carry out assigned tasks effectively.
- Capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to maintaining warehouse safety standards and compliance.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Minimum of three (3) years of warehouse experience required.
- Power equipment experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment to prevent errors and accidents.
- Assist with basic customer service needs when necessary.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and within required timeframes.
- Prioritize workload effectively with limited supervision.
- Navigate various software systems and websites to complete daily operations.
- Use handheld scanners and warehouse management software to ensure inventory and shipment accuracy.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Resolve routine issues and escalations within the assigned department.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
- Assist customers with order pickups.
- Process and invoice purchase orders.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Frequently lift and carry items weighing 10-20 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, climb ladders or steps, and perform physical warehouse activities.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
