AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direct supervision of the Fleet Maintenance Foreman, this position performs routine mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair and/or installation/replacement of minor component parts of all motorized vehicles and equipment; checks all fluid levels in vehicles, performs lube, oil and filter changes, performs engine tune ups, and maintains accurate records for the same; conducts safety inspections and conducts road and equipment tests; steam cleans and paints vehicles and equipment; other related duties. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 6:45 am to 2:45 pm, is part of the AFSCME Collective Bargaining Unit, and provides an excellent work life balance. The position is grade 4, with a starting hourly rate not to exceed $32.50.
