
Auto Material Damage Supervisor Objective
To assist the Auto Claims Manager in the application of a team-based approach to the handling of auto material damage (AMD) claims. Oversee the daily operation of an AMD Claims Representatives team, to ensure claims are handled in a timely and efficient manner while delivering excellent customer service. To act as resource and coach to the members of the AMD Team necessary to achieve department and company objectives. To oversee the settlement of auto material damage, property damage and mini-tort claims, and work toward resolution of complex issues and complaints from the AMD Team.
Auto Material Damage Supervisor Responsibilities
Develop and build effective teams to achieve a high level of customer service to Farm Bureau Insurance policyholders and Field Force.
Maintain knowledge of all physical damage contracts written by the companies, their various endorsements, exclusions, company procedures and accepted claim practices.
Maintain expert knowledge of insurance law as it relates to the physical damage contracts written by the companies. Remain up-to-date with trends and developments in the insurance industry.
Provide training and guidance to team members to insure timely, proper and consistent claim handling in compliance with company objectives and requirements.
Auto Material Damage Supervisor Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
Five to ten years insurance industry experience required.
Preferred
Designation in AIC preferred, or actively being pursued.
Note: If a candidate is not identified, an Associate AMD Supervisor may be considered based on level of experience.
