We’re looking for experienced Auto Electricians to join our growing workshop team. If you’re motivated, skilled and ready for a new challenge, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Perform Auto Electrical maintenance, servicing and repairs on a wide range of light vehicles, heavy commercial vehicles, mobile plant, earthmoving and mining equipment.
• Electrical and electronic systems diagnosis and repair
• Automotive Air Conditioning service and repair
• Work safely, efficiently and to high standards according to site or workshop requirements.
• Use OEM-level tooling and diagnostic equipment, provided by JMH, ensuring quality workmanship.
• Follow safety guidelines, site procedures and company WHS standards at all times.

What We’re Looking For

• Australian Auto Electrical Trade Certificate.
• Proven experience as a qualified auto electrician — 3+ years post trade experience is preferred (prior truck dealership, mine-site or heavy-duty plant experience highly regarded).
• Strong technical, diagnostic and trade skills.
• Proven ability to use service literature and schematic diagrams to fault find and repair motor vehicles and mobile equipment to industry standard.
• Able to manufacture and install automotive wiring looms and install ancillary electrical and electronic vehicle accessories.
• Reliable, proactive, team-minded and able to work independently when required.
• Good communication and a commitment to safety and quality.
• Must pass a pre-employment medical and national police check.
• Full Australian work rights. (Note: we are not sponsoring or nominating visa holders.)
