Lead efficient claim decisions by assessing losses, building estimates, and securing fair settlements while collaborating with repair teams and tracking the latest repair technology.
This role will be staffed following the hybrid work model out of our Nashville, TN, Davenport, IA or Stevens Point, WI offices. This role is NOT available fore remote work.
What You'll Do
The focus of this role isconducting inspections on auto damage to prepare and review repair estimatesAdditionally,you’ll
Virtually inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of structural, body, mechanical, and interior damage. Prepare detailed,accurate, and comprehensive damage reports and repair estimates using specialized software. Maintain detailed records of appraisals, photographs, and communications related to each claim.
Review and interpret insurance policies todeterminecoverage and liability. Negotiate settlements with repair facilities and clients,ensuring fairness and compliance with company policies.
Communicate effectively with clients, repair shops, and insurance adjusters to ensure clarity and satisfaction in the claimsprocess. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Stay updated on industry trends, repair techniques, and new vehicle models to provide informed andaccurateassessments.
Obtain andmaintainstate adjuster/appraiser licenses asrequired
What it Takes
Associate’s degreeor equivalent work experience
Knowledge of vehicle repairs gained frompreviousexperience in a repair facility, appraising responsibilities, or collision repair course workpreferred
Knowledge of insurance policies, coverages, and claim proceduresbeneficial
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writinghighly beneficial
Computer skills and knowledge of estimating softwarepreferred
Superior time management skills and ability to perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrentlybeneficial
Acceptable motor vehicle record if driving own or company vehicle
