The Production Manager will oversee all shop operations — from scheduling and job assignment through final quality control and delivery — ensuring that every repair, paint job, wrap, or customization meets Xclusive’s high standards, while maintaining efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and schedule all incoming jobs: collision repairs, paint jobs, wrap installations, restorations, custom work — based on estimates and customer approvals.
· Assign tasks to technicians/teams appropriately based on their specialties (body work, paint, wrap, restoration, custom accessories).
· Supervise the work in progress; coordinate between departments (estimator, customer service, technicians, finishers) to ensure work flows smoothly and deadlines are met.
· Monitor quality control: inspect completed work for adherence to shop standards, safety protocols, paint/wrap finish quality, structural integrity, and customer expectations.
· Manage resources: technician staffing, materials (paint, wrap film, parts, finishing supplies), shop equipment, workspace scheduling to optimize throughput without compromising quality.
· Communicate with customers (or customer service/estimator) as needed regarding job status, timeline changes, special requests, or potential issues.
· Enforce safety, shop standards, cleanliness, and ensure compliance with any relevant regulations for painting, wrapping, or collision repairs.
· Mentor and train technicians/staff as needed to uphold quality, workmanship, and customer service standards.
Requirements
· Prior experience in auto-body, collision repair, painting, wraps, and/or customization with a strong understanding of repair, paint and wrap processes.
· Demonstrated leadership and management skills — ability to coordinate multiple jobs, manage teams, and ensure quality control.
· Strong organizational, scheduling, and communication skills.
· Attention to detail, commitment to craftsmanship and safety, and ability to maintain high quality under time constraints.
· Good judgment in estimating time, resources, and sequencing of different types of work (body, paint, wrap, restoration).
Must be bilingual/Spanish speaking
