Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping in accordance with Australian accounting standards
- Prepare and evaluate financial statements along with management reports
- Oversee Australian tax compliance, including BAS, GST, PAYG, and Income Tax submissions
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, payroll, and balance sheet accounts
- Support audits and coordinate with external accountants or auditors
- Ensure adherence to Australian financial regulations and meet all deadlines
- Assist with financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting tasks
- Maintain precise financial records utilizing accounting software
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Certified CPA Australia or equivalent CA qualification
- In-depth knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation regulations
- Practical experience handling Australian clients and accounts
- Proficient in BAS, GST, payroll administration, and tax return preparation
- Skilled in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical abilities and effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation capabilities
- Preferred Profile
- Experience working within outsourcing, KPO, or accounting firms managing Australian clients
- Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple deadlines efficiently
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in financial reporting
