As an Australian Private Client Services I Associate, you will play a pivotal role in providing tax planning, compliance, and strategy advice to clients, helping them navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. Within our Tax practice, you will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws, reviewing and analyzing financial data, preparing and filing tax returns, and assisting businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance.

As an Associate, you will be driven by curiosity and contribute to client engagements and projects, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will adapt to working with a variety of clients and team members, each presenting unique challenges and scope. This role offers the chance to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will take ownership and consistently deliver quality work that drives value for our clients and success as a team. You will navigate through the firm, building a brand for yourself and opening doors to more opportunities.

Responsibilities

- Reviewing and analyzing financial data to validate compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Preparing and filing tax returns to assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations
- Drafting tax documents and conducting tax research to support corporate tax planning strategies
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to identify opportunities for tax optimization
- Collaborating with team members to provide client support and deliver quality tax services
- Applying accounting practices and tax auditing skills to minimize risks of non-compliance
- Engaging in project management tasks to streamline tax preparation processes
- Utilizing intellectual curiosity to gather information and discern patterns in financial data
- Upholding professional and technical standards while adhering to the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Master's in Commerce
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
