We’re looking for an Auditor - Information Systemsto join our Internal Audit Division!
Four years of experience in financial auditing, program auditing, or information technology; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field plus twenty-four semester hours in any combination of the following: accounting, auditing, business, computer science, economics, finance, information technology, information systems decision science, management, or quantitative methods plus one year of experience in financial auditing, program auditing, or information technology; OR
A bachelor's degree with twenty-four semester hours in any combination of the following: accounting, auditing, business, computer science, economics, finance, information technology, information systems decision science, management, or quantitative methods plus one year of experience in financial auditing, program auditing, or information technology; OR
A bachelor's degree in accounting, auditing, finance, business administration, management, economics, information technology, computer science, quantitative methods, or an information systems field plus one year of experience in financial auditing, program auditing, or information technology; OR
A bachelor's degree plus a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification; OR
An advanced degree in accounting, auditing, finance, business administration, management, economics, information technology, computer science, quantitative methods, or an information systems field; OR
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties:
In this role, you will:
Assist in annual risk assessment and the development of the annual audit plan, acting as subject matter expert in information systems areas.
Recommend updates to the audit manual, as needed.
Provide audit software support as needed to other auditors within the department. May train other audit personnel in the use of information retrieval systems.
Prepares audit plans for assigned audits.
Complete auditing procedures such as testing, examining, or obtaining audit evidence to discover positive and negative findings/observations and write a report detailing procedures completed and issues noted.

Career Progression: This position may be filled as an Auditor - Information Systems 1, 2, or 3.
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
The Auditor - Information Systems 1 (AS-615) has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) of: $23.14/hourly; $1,851.20 biweekly.
The Auditor - Information Systems 2 (AS-617) has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) of: $26.50/hourly; $2,120.00 biweekly.
The Auditor - Information Systems 3 (AS-619) has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) of: $30.35/hourly; $2,428.00 biweekly.

A Tax and Natural Disaster Clearance will be conducted on all selected applicants to validate the timely submission of tax returns and payments. It is a requirement that all Revenue employees must adhere to all tax laws of the State of Louisiana.
