Whatyou’lldo:
Assist in executing external audits of financial statements according to regulatory and professional standards under supervision
Perform detailed audit tasks including substantive testing to support identification of financial statement risks and ensure accuracy and compliance
Support the assessment of internal controls and risk management procedures to help form audit conclusions
Prepare clear and accurate audit workpapers and documentation for review by senior team members
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within audit engagements to enhance efficiency and quality
Collaborate with clients and internal team members to resolve straightforward accounting and audit matters
Whatwe’relooking for:
You will have up to 2 years’ experience in external audit or related accounting roles, preferably with some exposure or interest in CIPS or similar industry sectors.
You should be capable of reviewing financial information, recognising potential risks, and applying basic professional judgement in audit procedures.
We are looking for someone who is eager to collaborate with and learn from more experienced colleagues in a supportive team environment.
You need to be able to clearly document audit findings and communicate effectively within the team and with clients.
A basic understanding of auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks, and regulatory requirements is important, along with a strong commitment to ongoing learning.
