Summary
The Auditor is responsible for supporting quality assurance activities and serving as a primary liaison for quality-related customer concerns. This position verifies compliance with established standards, coordinates audit-related activities, and ensures corrective actions are implemented effectively. The role works closely with internal teams, customers, and third-party auditors to maintain quality performance and regulatory compliance. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to analyze and report audit findings.
Pay Rate: $23.81 per hour
Essential Functions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer concerns and inquiries.
- Investigate quality issues and verify implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Scan and verify vehicle accessories and related inventory components.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and company quality requirements.
- Review and verify the accuracy of quality reports, audit records, and corrective action documentation.
- Coordinate and facilitate quality meetings, audits, training sessions, and related events.
- Schedule resources necessary to support audit and compliance activities.
- Order and maintain inventory of audit supplies, equipment, and tools.
- Collaborate with internal quality teams and second- and third-party auditors.
- Conduct inspections and audits to verify adherence to operational procedures and quality standards.
- Compile, chart, analyze, and graph audit results for reporting purposes.
- Inspect vehicles and remove protective wrapping or bags as required for quality inspections.
- Drive and reposition various vehicle types in support of audit and inspection activities.
- Verify completion and accuracy of accessory kits, packages, and related installations.

Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
- One to three months of related quality, inspection, auditing, manufacturing, or operations experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to accurately maintain records and documentation.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience in automotive processing, logistics, manufacturing, or quality assurance environments.
- Experience working with internal and external auditors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience compiling and analyzing audit data and reports.
- Knowledge of quality management principles and corrective action processes.

Work Environment

- Ability to perform moderate physical activity and handle materials associated with inspections and audits.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
- Full-time position.
- Primarily Monday through Friday, day shift schedule.
- Overtime may be required based on business needs.
Travel
- Minimal travel required, up to 10%, including occasional overnight travel by land or air.
Work Authorization / Security Clearance
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
- Must meet all applicable company and site access requirements.
