Compensation: $65,000–$85,000 Base + Bonus
Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan
Schedule Flexible Hybrid

Our client is seeking an Audit Staff Accountant who is eager to develop professionally and build a successful long-term career in public accounting.

This role provides hands-on exposure to audits, reviews, compilations, financial reporting, and client interaction while working alongside experienced professionals committed to mentorship and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with audits, reviews, and compilations
• Prepare workpapers and financial statements
• Analyze financial data
• Evaluate internal controls
• Work directly with client personnel
• Support engagement teams throughout the audit process

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• CPA eligible preferred
• 0–3 years public accounting experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills

Preferred

• Public accounting internship experience
• Experience with audit software
• CPA pursuit underway
