Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Familiarity with FRC reporting and auditor independence requirements.
  • Awareness of FCA and PRA considerations for regulated entity audits.
  • Proven ability to manage concurrent engagements to deadline and budget.
  • Demonstrated supervisory and file-review skills, with a focus on quality.
  • Confident written and verbal communication with clients and senior management.
  • Sound professional ethics and a clear understanding of auditor independence.

Preferred Experience:

  • Big Four or established mid-tier training and post-qualification experience in the UK.
  • Exposure to FRC Audit Quality Review inspections and file-level remediation.
  • Sector focus in financial services, technology, or consumer and industrial markets.
  • Experience with group audits spanning UK and international components.
  • Familiarity with SOX and ICFR requirements for US-listed group audits.
  • Working familiarity with data-enabled audit tools and analytics.
