CharteredPartners is seeking an Audit Senior Manager to manage assurance engagements end-to-end within a practice in Dubai. This is an operational delivery role with day-to-day responsibility for planning, executing and completing IFRS audits across mainland, DIFC and ADGM clients. You will be the principal client contact on your engagements, supervise audit teams in the field, and prepare files for director and partner review. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage IFRS audit engagements end-to-end across UAE mainland, DIFC and ADGM clients, from planning and risk assessment through to completion.
• Serve as the principal day-to-day client contact, coordinating deliverables, resolving queries and managing the audit timetable.
• Supervise, review and develop managers, seniors and graduates on the engagement team.
• Apply IFRS in practice, reviewing complex areas such as revenue, financial instruments and impairment.
• Prepare audit files to the required standard and ready them for director and partner sign-off.
• Draft audit reports, management letters and reporting deliverables for a diverse regional client base.
• Manage engagement budgets, recovery and billing, escalating issues to the engagement director.
• Support compliance with the UAE Commercial Companies Law and applicable DFSA, FSRA and ESCA requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• A recognised professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing.
• Several years of external audit experience, including time at manager grade in a practice environment.
• Experience auditing clients across UAE mainland, DIFC or ADGM structures.
• Familiarity with the UAE Commercial Companies Law and applicable regulatory reporting.
• Awareness of the DFSA and FSRA regimes and ESCA requirements for regulated and listed entities.
• Proven ability to manage concurrent engagements to deadline and budget.
• Demonstrated supervisory and file-review skills, with a focus on quality.
• Confident written and verbal communication with clients and senior management; Arabic is an advantage.
• Sound professional ethics and a clear understanding of auditor independence.

Preferred Experience:

• Big Four or established mid-tier training and post-qualification experience in the UAE or wider GCC.
• Exposure to financial services entities regulated by the DFSA, FSRA or UAE Central Bank.
• Sector focus in real estate, construction, trading or financial services.
• Experience with group audits spanning GCC and international components.
• Working familiarity with data-enabled audit tools and analytics.
• Exposure to the evolving UAE corporate tax environment.

Compensation:

Competitive package commensurate with seniority and experience, including base, performance-based bonus, long-term incentives and (where applicable) partner-track participation.
