About the role:

Managing your own audits from start to finish, including all the client liaison, this role is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys every element of the audit profession. You will be taking ownership of your clients from day one, responsible for the technical detail of your audits and managing your own workload / planning.

We have a range of clients, covering several industries and with a 50/50 split between not for profit and for-profit organisations.

The team: Our Audit team is busy and bursting with opportunity. We are a close team, who work together to develop our technical knowledge by brainstorming different approaches and methodologies all while having a laugh.

Our standard work week is 37.5 hours but during the busy times, we can work between 45 and 50 hours. All extra hours are tracked through our time in lieu policy, which allows you to bank them and have an extra-long break over summer or have them paid out!

We are a small audit team locally but work closely with our national team combining our training and other development opportunities. We have a diverse client base, and as we are a licensed Audit Firm, we get opportunities and work that other small Firms may not.

About you

We like to set people up for success, so to get the most out of this role you will have:

· A comprehensive knowledge of IFRS and IPSAS reporting standards

· An inquisitive mind and a passion for understanding the detail

· Working towards or a CA qualification and at least 2-3 years’ experience working in a CA firm

· Experience working on a variety of industries and businesses

· A genuine interest in commerce and understanding how different businesses operate

· A focus on quality, efficiency, and professionalism
