Job Description

• Write and update audit methodologies, manuals and operational procedures
• Align internal workflows with the latest professional auditing standards
• Conduct periodic self-assessments of internal audit activity
• Evaluate audit files for workpaper sufficiency and conformance with the IIA Standards
• Identify gaps in audit execution, documentation and reporting
• Report QAIP metrics and improvement trends to senior management
• Regular and predictable attendance and predictability
• Other duties as required

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a sitting stationary position for extended periods of time
• Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one years of banking or audit experience
• Ability to translate guidelines/protocols into clear, step-by-step procedures for auditors
• Possess ability to evaluate peer work impartially without bias
• Aptitude to view completed files and identify gaps, insufficient evidence, or flawed conditions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to maintain confidentiality & meet deadlines
• Effective verbal & written communication skills
• Must be detail oriented, analytical, and organized
• Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment
• Must be a self-starter and possess self-discipline to work independently
