Job Description

We are seeking for Audit Operations Manager for Gurgaon location is responsible for end‑to‑end management of audit and certification operations, ensuring efficient delivery, quality, compliance, and scalability across audit programs. The role focuses on operational excellence, auditor management, workload planning, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement across food safety, beverage, quality, ESG, and supply‑chain audits.

Key Responsibilities

Audit Delivery & Operations

  • Lead and manage audit operations across food manufacturing, beverage, distribution, and supply‑chain facilities.
  • Own the full audit lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, execution, reporting, certification support, and closure.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, accreditation rules, and internal quality standards
  • Support delivery of audits across food safety, quality, ESG, social compliance, and client‑specific programs.

Workload Planning & Resource Management

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly workload planning to ensure optimal utilization and on‑time audit delivery.
  • Assign and rebalance work across auditors to meet turnaround time and productivity targets
  • Monitor operational capacity and proactively mitigate delivery risks.

Auditor & Team Management

  • Recruit, onboard, qualify, train, and evaluate internal and subcontracted auditors
  • Lead auditor calibration, competency management, and performance reviews
  • Build a strong culture of accountability, engagement, and collaboration across audit teams.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and report key operational KPIs, including audit volumes, turnaround times, utilization, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Use operational dashboards and reporting tools to support data‑driven decision‑making
  • Ensure operations consistently meet quality, efficiency, and output goals

Process Improvement & Program Development

  • Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement within audit operations.
  • Support development, revision, and rollout of audit programs, certification schemes, and new offerings.
  • Contribute to annual operating plans and strategic initiatives

Stakeholder & Business Support

  • Partner with Sales, Technical, and Business Development teams to support client requirements and growth initiatives
  • Participate in industry forums, working groups, and training initiatives as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in audit operations, certification, or assurance services
  • Proven experience managing audit programs and auditor networks
  • Strong leadership experience with cross‑functional and remote teams
  • Solid understanding of audit standards, certification processes, and operational governance
  • Bachelor’s degree in food, Business, Operations, Science and relevant discipline.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
