In our Audit - Asset Management practice, we do more than audit financial statements. We serve as trusted advisors to some of the world's most sophisticated private equity and asset management firms, helping them navigate complex fund structures, evolving regulatory frameworks, and the growing demands of global investors.

Your Impact

  • Lead end-to-end audits of financial statements for asset managers, private equity firms, and private markets funds in compliance with US GAAP, IFRS,Lux GAAOand Swiss GAAP (OR / Swiss GAAP FER), overseeing planning, execution, and completion

  • Drive the audit of complex investment valuations across all asset classes including private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and real estate, ensuring technical rigor and thoroughness

  • Manage SEC filing requirements and audits of companies reporting under US GAAP and IFRS, including coordination with PCAOB and SOX requirements where applicable

  • Assess and advise on clients' compliance with FINMA regulatory requirements, leading supervisory audits in line with applicable guidelines

  • Advise clients on business opportunities arising from PwC USA's initiatives in asset management, supporting significant product and investment launches

  • Coordinate and lead international engagement teams across the USA, Europe, and other regions, ensuring seamless collaboration and high-quality delivery

  • Prepare audit files for Partner review and take a leading role in presenting audit findings to senior management and Boards of Directors

  • Build, develop, and deepen long-term client relationships, positioning yourself as a go-to advisor on technical accounting and regulatory matters

  • Champion the use of digital audit tools, data analytics, and automation to continuously improve audit quality and deliver greater value to clients

  • Develop and inspire your team through active coaching, structured feedback, and creating an environment where people can grow and thrive

  • Contribute to business development initiatives, including proposals, thought leadership, and expanding our presence in the private markets space

Your Skill Set

  • A university degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; completion of a Swiss CPA (dipl.Wirtschaftsprüfer:in), US CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification

  • 5–8+ years of audit experience for Manager level; 8+ years for Senior Manager level, with a demonstrabletrack recordin asset management, private equity, or private markets at a Big 4 or comparable firm

  • Deep technicalexpertisein US GAAP, IFRS, and/orLuxGAAPandSwiss GAAP (OR, Swiss GAAP FER), with proven experience managing SEC filings and applying PCAOB standards

  • Strong understanding of private markets investment structures, fund accounting, and the valuation of illiquid assets across asset classes

  • Familiarity with FINMA regulatory requirements and experience conducting supervisory audits is an advantage

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and coordinating international teams, managing complex multi-stakeholder engagements acrossjurisdictions

  • Proficiencyin digital audit transformation, including audit technology platforms, data analytics, and automation tools

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English;Germanskills are a plus

  • A natural leader and relationship builder, with the ability to inspire teams, manage client expectations, and drive business outcomes

  • Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifyingand developing new business opportunities
