Whatyou’lldo:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of external audit engagements tailored to private clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards
Manage and mentor audit teams, fostering a collaborative environment focused on quality and efficiency throughout the audit process
Build and sustain strong relationships with private clients, understanding their unique business structures, financial reporting needs, and risk profiles
Identifyand assess financial and control risks, developingappropriate auditstrategies to address client-specific challenges
Provide clients with practical and insightful advice on financial reporting, governance, and regulatory requirements relevant to private entities
Drive continuous improvement by embracing innovative audit methodologies and technologies to enhance service delivery
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address complex audit issues and deliver client-focused solutions
Whatwe’relooking for
Minimum 5 years’ experience in external audit, preferably working with private clients or owner-managed businesses, and arecognisedChartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop audit teams, manage multiple engagements, and deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence senior stakeholders within private client businesses.
Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks, and regulatory requirements applicable to private entities.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information and business challenges to provide effective solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying audit findings and recommendations clearly to diverse audiences.
