As an Audit & Assurance - Products & Services - Associate 2 you will support financial statement audit activities by helping evaluate financial information, internal controls, and governance and risk processes within our Audit and Assurance practice. As an Associate you will contribute to client engagement and project work while building your skills, adapting to changing priorities, and developing the judgment needed to support experienced team members in a fast-paced environment. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Kolkata, you will work across a range of client situations, gather information from multiple sources, organize findings, apply professional and technical standards, and deliver work that supports the reliability of financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Support core assurance and audit engagements by performing financial statement reviews, testing controls and transactions (fixed assets, inventory, income/expense, dividends), and applying auditing standards while evaluating supporting documentation and policies.

Manage audit workflows and documentation from request initiation to completion, using firm workflow tools to track progress, document procedures performed, prepare audit workpapers, and populate standard templates in accordance with audit policies.

Collaborate effectively across teams and engagements by working with multiple workstreams, participating in engagement team communications, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving, building strong relationships, seeking feedback proactively, and delivering high-quality work within deadlines.

What You Must Have

  • Minimum Qualification: B.Com
  • Relevant Qualification - M. Com / MBA Finance / Other Accounting degrees
  • 0 - 3+ years of experience
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required
