How you will Make an Impact

Reporting to the Audit & Assurance Function Leader, this is a senior role that requires a specific focus on improving operations and processes within the function with special emphasis on improving the data gathering and analysis process to drive better efficiency within the service line. The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated individual with strong IT and analytical skills and also possess the ability to work closely with other professionals. The individual must also be detail-oriented and able to think critically. The ability to gain an in-depth understanding of existing operations to recommend improvements in the various processes would also be required.

Let’ s Talk About You

In order to execute this role it will be necessary to obtain an understanding of existing processes, applicable rule sets as well as the regulatory requirements and available systems within the relevant function and using that knowledge to make recommendations on how to improve the current systems and processes architecture that will ultimately drive the implementation of improved methodologies across the function.

The initial months will be focused on learning and understanding the business and applicable rules and mapping the existing processes and procedures with a view to then be able to identify quick wins that can be adjusted in the immediate term. In addition, the focus will then turn to working on plans for the longer term inclusive of but not limited to implementation of different technology and other tools as needed.

  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with staff at all organizational levels and ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team with minimal supervision.

Your Professional skills:

  • Strong IT and analytical skills
  • Experience working with staff on all levels
  • The ability to identify problems and foresee potential issues
  • Capability to multitask and adapt to changing circumstances

Your Specialized skills:

  • Tertiary level of qualification specializing in business management, operations management or a related area.
  • Candidates with previous experience in a similar role will be given preference.
  • Delegating to junior team members, provide on the job training and provide feedback
