As an Audit and Assurance - Sustainability Assurance - Senior Associate, you will focus on providing independent assessments of sustainability reporting, evaluating compliance with regulations, and enhancing the credibility of information for stakeholders. Within our Assurance practice, you will work on obtaining limited or reasonable validation about sustainability reporting, helping organizations build trust in their sustainability strategies while adhering to relevant regulations.
As a Senior Associate, you will develop meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate complex situations, grow your personal brand, and deepen your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work even when the path forward is unclear. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will assess gaps between disclosure and sustainability reporting frameworks, test data quality and controls, and contribute to the overall strategy of your projects.
Responsibilities
- Conducting independent evaluations of sustainability reporting to identify potential discrepancies and enhance credibility
- Analyzing compliance with sustainability regulations and assessing governance and risk management processes
- Collaborating with clients to understand their sustainability strategies and provide insights for improvement
- Testing data quality and controls to validate the accuracy of sustainability reporting
- Identifying gaps between disclosure and sustainability reporting frameworks and recommending improvements
- Utilizing analytical thinking to interpret data and inform sustainability insights and recommendations
- Engaging in stakeholder discussions to address sustainability reporting challenges and opportunities
- Applying knowledge of climate change risk management to support clients in achieving their sustainability goals
- Developing and maintaining meaningful client relationships to foster trust and collaboration
- Mentoring junior team members to enhance their skills and understanding of sustainability assurance practices
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
