The Client and External Audit Services team are in many of the Computershare key locations.

A role you will love

The Client & External Audit team are responsible for the delivery of client requests for internal control information (questionnaires, queries and Requests for Information (RFI)/Request for Proposal (RFP)).

In this role, you will build strong relationships with internal Account and Relationship Managers, collaborating closely once work is initiated through internal systems to gain a clear understanding of client-specific services. You will utilise internal databases to complete and manage client questionnaires, gathering and cross-referencing key information. Working in partnership with managers and specialist teams across technology, security, and privacy, you will ensure accurate, high-quality responses while supporting a seamless and efficient client experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the planning and facilitation of on-site client and external audit visits
  • Respond to client assurance requests by completing and delivering questionnaires and RFIs related to internal controls
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on client engagements and related activities
  • Communicate clearly and confidently across the business, including with external auditors as required
  • Collaborate with global C&E team members to ensure timely delivery of workload and promote best practices
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying enhancement opportunities and constructively challenging the status quo within the Audit function

What will you bring to the role?

  • Strong administrative and organisational experience gained within a professional services and/or regulated environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective interpersonal relationships and engage stakeholders across business units, locations, and external clients
  • Proven ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders in a global organisation, including exposure to senior business stakeholders
  • Capability to deliver against defined goals and targets while supporting the continuous improvement of processes, systems, and policies
  • Structured and analytical mindset, with experience working within established processes, policies, and procedures while evaluating internal and external data
  • Problem-solving skills, including the ability to read, analyse, and interpret complex information and conduct investigations where necessary
  • Experience interacting effectively with internal and external clients, statutory and professional bodies, and external audit partners to deliver successful outcomes
