Audiology Student
The Audiology Student participates in supervised clinical experiences designed to develop knowledge and skills in diagnostic audiology, hearing aid services, patient education, and clinical operations. The student assists licensed audiologists in delivering high-quality patient care while meeting educational program requirements. All clinical activities are performed under appropriate supervision and in accordance with organizational policies, state regulations, and university guidelines.

Responsibilities
Assists with clinic workflow and patient flow to support efficient operations.
, Assists with comprehensive audiologic evaluations under supervision., Assists with hearing aid evaluations, fittings, checks, troubleshooting, and follow-up care., Demonstrates effective communication with patients, providers, and team members.
, Documents patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record., Educates patients and families regarding hearing loss, hearing devices, communication strategies, and treatment plans., Follows infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies and procedures., Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with HIPAA requirements.
, Maintains professional behavior and appearance consistent with organizational standards., Participates in case discussions, clinical education activities, and professional development opportunities.
, Performs hearing screenings and basic diagnostic procedures as permitted., Prepares equipment, supplies, and testing environments for patient care activities.
