A well-established private audiology practice with multiple locations throughout the Greater Phoenix area is seeking an
Audiologist
to join its Peoria team.
The practice offers a
full scope of audiology services
, including adult and pediatric diagnostics, hearing aids, vestibular testing, tinnitus evaluation and treatment, cochlear implants, BAHA, Lyric, and advanced vestibular testing including rotary chair. However, this opening is ideal for an Audiologist who truly enjoys working with hearing aids and finds fulfillment in helping patients through the fitting, counseling, and rehabilitation process.
The patient population is primarily adult, with some pediatric patients, and the practice places a strong emphasis on audiology best practices, advanced technology, and individualized patient care.
Scope of Practice & Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive adult and pediatric diagnostic hearing evaluations
Select, fit, program, and adjust hearing aids using Real Ear Measurements (REM) and audiology best practices
Provide hearing aid verification, patient counseling, follow-up care, and aural rehabilitation
Evaluate and treat patients with tinnitus
Perform vestibular evaluations with access to advanced testing, including rotary chair
Provide cochlear implant (CI) and BAHA evaluations and services
Work with a range of amplification options, including Lyric
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care
Requirements
AuD or Master’s degree in Audiology
Arizona Audiologist license or eligibility for licensure
Strong communication and patient counseling skills
Commitment to Real Ear Measurements and audiology best practices
Interest in practicing across a broad scope of audiology
