Job Description

For 28 years, Audio Video Connections has been creating high-end audio, video, automation, and network systems across Northeast Oklahoma. We take pride in building clean, professional installs and working as a tight-knit team on projects that range from luxury homes to advanced commercial systems.

We’re looking for a technician apprentice who can handle basic install tasks and is ready to grow into a more advanced role.

What You'll Do

• Mounting TVs and assisting with home theater installations
• Running and terminating low-voltage wiring
• Hooking up and assisting with configuration of audio/video equipment
• Assisting with installation of network and surveillance systems
• Supporting lighting control, shades, and basic system installs
• Helping with larger installs that require multiple technicians

What We’re Looking For

• AV / low voltage / construction or related experience
• Ability to run and terminate wire with minimal supervision
• Comfortable mounting TVs and working with basic install tasks
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working in attics, heat/cold, and job sites

Requirements

• Valid Drivers License
• No DUI / DWI
• No Felony Charges
• Pass background check
• Be able to lift heavy items (60+ lbs)

The Work


Most days involve installing AV, automation, and network systems in homes and businesses around the Tulsa area. This is hands-on work—ladders, attics, and job sites are part of the job. You’ll be expected to handle basic tasks while supporting more experienced technicians on larger or more complex installs.

📍 Location: Based in North Bixby (moving to Jenks soon)
