What will I be doing?

As an L1 Staff Technology Experience Engineer, you will provide technical support across THG Ingenuity's global office network, helping to deliver a seamless technology experience for colleagues and visitors. You'll be responsible for supporting and maintaining audio visual, workplace technology and collaboration systems across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Installation and commissioning of speakers, amplifiers, mixers, presentation switchers, keypads, displays and video conferencing equipment
• Supporting and maintaining AV, VC and workplace technology infrastructure
• Managing structured cabling and cable management standards
• Maintaining accurate asset registers and inventory records
• Providing high-quality technical support and resolving incidents within agreed SLAs
• Supporting integrated room booking systems, digital signage, IP telephony and lighting control systems
• Assisting with meeting room technology deployments and office fit-out projects
• Ensuring end users receive a seamless collaboration and workplace technology experience

What skills and experience would I need?

Essential

• Minimum 2 years' experience within IT Support, Workplace Technology or Audio Visual Support
• Experience terminating low-voltage cabling, including speaker, control and network cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, RS232, RS485, UTP/STP)
• Hands-on experience installing and supporting AV and collaboration technologies
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Technical Knowledge

• AV technologies and platforms including RTI, Lutron, Kramer, Extron, Wyrestorm, Poly, Sony Professional and similar enterprise solutions
• Video processing, signal routing and distribution technologies including HDMI, HDCP, EDID and HDBaseT
• Control systems including RS232, IR and IP-based device management
• Audio and video conferencing technologies
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DHCP, VLANs, wireless networking and network troubleshooting
• Understanding of telephony, SIP and unified communications solutions
• Experience supporting modern workplace and collaboration environments

Desirable

• Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms and enterprise collaboration platforms
• Experience within a global or multi-site business environment
• Relevant IT or AV certifications
