
Williams College is seeking an Audio Video and Architecture Technicianto join the Art Department to provide support to the audio, video, and architecture studio courses taught in the studio wing of the department. Reporting to the Director of Studio Operations, this full-time, year-round position works directly with faculty, students, and other staff as they support both the audio and video needs and the architecture needs of the Art Department.
The successful candidate is a well-rounded individual with technical skills in audio, video, and architectural rendering. They will work independently and collaboratively with Art Department faculty to provide operational support for the efficient functioning of all the audio, video, and architecture courses. This includes managing inventory and procurement, overseeing student equipment checkouts and returns, overseeing architecture studio organization and maintenance, and performing other AV projects or duties as needed. The position provides training and access for art students and faculty in their coursework and teaching. This position uses a wide variety of audio and visual capture equipment and works primarily with the Mac OS platform and Adobe Creative Suite.

The Audio Video and Architecture Studio Technician is a full-time (40 hours/week), year-round, benefited position that involves a significant amount of on-site presence. Remote work arrangements will not be available at this time. Pay range is from $30.00 - $33.00, commensurate with experience.
