Job Description

Build the audience-to-funnel engine behind Bish’s RV’s next level of sales growth.

For someone who gets energized by a blank page — not someone who needs the blueprint handed to them first.

We already have the hard part solved: large, built audience groups with hundreds of thousands of people actively viewing and receiving our content every month. What we don't have yet is the system that turns that reach into structured, measurable funnels, and that's the blank page we're hiring someone to help fill. This is a ground-floor build, not a maintenance role, done in close partnership with senior and executive leadership. You'll move at a fast and sometimes messy pace, bring a strong point of view to the table, and be judged on results you can show, including how well you run with the calls the team lands on, not just the ones you'd have made yourself.

What you'll learn, do, and become

We're not hiring you to run more ads or manage an existing playbook — there isn't one yet. We're hiring you to help build the audience-and-funnel system from zero, working in close, constant collaboration with senior and executive leadership. This is a highly collaborative role, not a solo mandate: you'll be expected to push a strong point of view in the room, and just as expected to fully commit to whatever the team ultimately decides — even on the days it isn't the direction you argued for.

  • Help build the audience-to-funnel system from scratch — propose what gets built first, pressure-test it with leadership, and move fast once a direction is set.
  • Operate in a fast-moving, resource-lean environment where priorities shift with the data. You'll thrive here if you can read results and change course in days — this is not a role for someone who needs a fixed roadmap and six-month plans that don't move.
  • Sit in direct, regular communication with senior and executive leadership as a real contributor to the decision — not just the person who executes it afterward.
  • Own the full cycle: attach the right message or offer to the right audience segment, turn that engagement into a captured contact, and carry it toward a close — measuring what happens at every step and bringing the data and a recommended fix back to the team.
  • Work through real operational hurdles — undefined processes, competing priorities, systems that don't talk to each other yet — as part of a team solving them together, not as a solo mandate.

Your Mandate

Performance objectives

If you want to know exactly what winning looks like in this role, here it is — on a timeline, with a number attached to each one.

In your first 30 days

  • Audit and further segment our existing audience groups — the large, already-built pools of people currently viewing and receiving our content — and deliver the first real headcount and definition for each one.
  • Launch several top-of-funnel plays — ads and retargeting messages attached to specific audience segments — built to engage the right person and capture the personal information we need for further communication and down-funnel progress. We're not asking for one finished funnel in month one. We're asking for enough of these live and tagged, across enough segments, that we can see with real data which messages and which audience pairings are actually working.

In 90 days

  • Turn the top-of-funnel plays that are proving out into fully attached funnels that carry a qualified segment further toward a close — while continuing to test new top-of-funnel messages against the audience groups that haven't been proven out yet.
  • Establish a fast, repeatable measure-diagnose-pivot cycle: when a funnel underperforms, know why within days, and bring both the data and a proposed fix directly to leadership — not just a report of what went wrong.
  • Show a measurable improvement in cost-per-lead by proving out owned, segmented targeting against whatever generic or rented approach we're using today.

In six months

  • Own a live portfolio of funnels — from top-of-funnel capture through to close — mapped to every major audience segment, each reporting audience size, segment size, funnel entries, and close rate on a regular cadence to senior and executive leadership.
  • Have a demonstrated track record of bringing clear, data-backed recommendations on what to kill, rebuild, or scale — fast — and be seen by leadership as a trusted partner in making that call, not someone who needs to be walked through it.

What You Bring

Qualifications

Three specific track records matter here more than anything else. We need real depth in each — not adjacent exposure.

  • Significant, hands-on experience segmenting real audiences — not broad demographic buckets, but building and defining actual segments out of raw traffic, content viewers, or contact data, and proving who genuinely belongs in each one.
  • Significant experience architecting the messaging and funnel process itself — designing the sequence of offers and messages that narrows a broad audience segment, step by step, down to an actual close, using CRM/marketing automation and paid social advertising as the tools of that system.
  • Significant experience measuring performance, reporting it clearly to stakeholders, and adjusting the approach based on what the data actually shows — not just producing the report, but using it to change what happens next.
  • Comfortable being judged on outcomes you can show, not effort you can describe. You kill or rebuild your own underperforming work as readily as you'd flag someone else's — ego doesn't get in the way of the data.
  • Direct experience presenting results, good or bad, to senior or executive audiences — and a track record of running hard with the direction they land on, even when it isn't the one you recommended.
  • A genuine collaborator, not a lone operator — you actively seek out data, input, and perspective from others, inside the company and out, to make a sharper call. But collaboration informs the decision here; it doesn't replace it. You still make the decision and own what happens because of it.
  • A genuine appetite for a fast-paced, frequently-changing environment and the operational messiness that comes with building something new — this role will hit setbacks, and you don't back down from them.

Let's Talk

Not everyone should apply for this

We run a genuinely high-performance, high-output culture at Bish's RV, and we'll be honest: it isn't the right fit for every strong performer — including some real top performers who'd be happier somewhere calmer. We're not going to pretend otherwise. What we want is someone who reads that as an invitation, not a caution — someone curious whether they're actually as good as they think they are, in a place that won't let them find out slowly.

If that's you, reach out directly. If it's not you — but you know someone, a genuine top performer currently operating well below their real capacity — pass this along to them instead. Either way, know that we understand exactly what it costs to hire someone like that. Our compensation for this role is built to reflect it.

Chances are – if you are the right fit, you haven’t touched your resume in a while. Whether you’re curious or serious reach out and we’ll chat.

About Bish's RV, Inc.

Bish’s RV is the largest family-owned RV Dealer from coast-to-coast. We've been helping people go camping for over 30 years.

Leland “Bish” Jenkins built his family business based on the principles of honesty, fair dealing, and treating customers right. Beginning in Eastern Idaho in the 1940’s with the sale of livestock, Bish Jenkins and his family expanded the business into clothing, saddles, tack and horse trailers.

In 1989, one of Bish’s grandsons wanted to purchase an RV from a local dealer. When he didn’t like the price, he called the manufacturer and tried to buy one. But he needed to be a dealer. So, he bought six of them and Bish’s RV was born!

For over 30 years, Bish’s RV has expanded from its original location in Idaho Falls, ID to a thriving group of dealerships with locations across the United States. We’re a different kind of RV dealership, dedicated to helping families find the perfect RV to help them create memories that will last a lifetime while also delivering exceptional customer service and treating each customer like family.

So, no matter where you live, no matter where you camp, no matter which highway you may travel, you are an important part of the Bish’s RV family of satisfied customers and this is "Where Memories Begin!"
