    AU RTO Student Experience Officer

Role Overview

  • Some people are exceptional at customer service.

  • Others are brilliant at administration.

  • But the people who can confidently do both — while making students feel supported, informed, and genuinely cared for — are rare.

  • In this role, you’ll become a key part of the student journey, supporting learners from enrolment through to completion while keeping systems, records, and processes running smoothly behind the scenes.

  • You’ll handle student enquiries across phone, email, and live chat while also supporting onboarding, compliance processes, enrollments, documentation, and student administration.

  • This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role where no two days look the same — perfect for someone who enjoys balancing people support with structured processes and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to student enquiries via phone, email, and live chat.

  • Guide students through enrollments, systems, and course processes.

  • Assist with onboarding and student documentation.

  • Verify transcripts, certificates, and student records.

  • Coordinate student letters, extensions, and requests.

  • Maintain accurate CRM and student management system records.

  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams.

  • Support students using LMS platforms and online portals.

  • Work collaboratively with Careers, Training, and Education teams.

  • Ensure accurate administration and data quality across student records.

  • Support smooth onboarding and enrolment experiences.

  • Contribute to positive student satisfaction outcomes.


Requirements


Required Qualifications (Must-Have):

  • Experience in customer service, administration, or student support roles.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments.

  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Experience using CRM systems and shared digital tools.

  • Ability to learn systems and processes quickly.

  • Professional and empathetic approach to customer interactions.

  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in education, training, or RTO environments.

  • Experience using LMS platforms.

  • Experience using student management systems.

  • Call center or high-volume support experience.
