About the Role
Rabobank is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a large-scale enterprise resilience program aligned to strategic and regulatory priorities. This is a critical leadership role responsible for translating strategy into executable change and delivering sustainable outcomes across a highly regulated financial services environment.
As Program Manager, you will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of a complex, multi-stream program. You will partner with senior executives, business and technology leaders, and external vendors to ensure delivery is on time, within budget, and compliant with regulatory obligations.
You will play a key role in embedding resilience capabilities across the bank, driving organisational change, and ensuring long-term benefit realisation.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Delivery
Lead delivery of a large-scale, complex resilience program across multiple workstreams
Establish integrated program plans, milestones, dependencies, and benefits frameworks
Take accountability for scope, schedule, cost, and delivery outcomes
Ensure benefits are realised and sustained post-implementation
Drive organisational change, business readiness, and adoption outcomes
Manage cross-program dependencies and resolve enterprise-level conflicts
Governance, Risk & Compliance
Establish robust governance aligned with Rabobank frameworks
Manage program risks, issues, and regulatory obligations
Deliver high-quality reporting for Executives, Board, and regulators
Ensure alignment with risk appetite and strong non-financial risk outcomes
Financial & Resource Management
Manage multi-million dollar budgets, forecasts, and financial controls
Oversee internal teams and external vendors
Ensure effective resource allocation and delivery capability
Build and lead high-performing, multidisciplinary teams
Stakeholder Engagement
Build trusted relationships with senior business, technology, and risk leaders
Act as the primary delivery point of accountability to the Executive Sponsor
Influence across complex stakeholder environments and competing priorities
About You
Experience
Proven track record delivering large-scale programs in financial services or regulated environments
Strong experience engaging at Executive and Board level
Deep understanding of governance, risk and compliance in banking
Experience managing complex delivery models (Agile, SAFe or hybrid)
Background in transformation, regulatory uplift, or resilience programs
Skills & Capabilities
Exceptional program leadership and delivery expertise
Advanced stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
Strong financial management and benefits realisation experience
Excellent executive communication and reporting abilities
Proven ability to manage ambiguity, complexity, and competing priorities
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in finance, business, or project management (required)
PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent certification (preferred)
