Job Role: Credit Analyst/Parabroker

Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $2,500 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who The Client Is: A financial services firm providing investment advice, equities trading, and research for retail and wholesale clients. Offers access to domestic and international markets, including IPOs and listed securities, through a partner securities company.

This role involves assessing a client’s personal and financial creditworthiness by reviewing profiles, financial statements, and supporting documents. It includes researching lender policies, calculating serviceability, liaising with lenders and stakeholders, and preparing loan recommendations and comparison reports

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing client profiles and supporting information to complete preliminary assessments. Assessments include lender policy research, borrowing capacity (Quickly serviceability) and funding position assessments.
  • Analyse financial statements and payslips
  • Cross-reference lender policy to find solutions
  • Completing lender serviceability, postcode and lender mortgage insurance calculators
  • Liaising with Lenders and their Credit Assessors, Business Development Managers to discuss lending policy, loan scenarios and loan structuring.
  • Preparing product comparison reports and making lender recommendations based on the assessment of the customer’s financial situation.
  • Assisting the Finance Broker to ensure that all compliance requirements are met
  • Communicate with key stakeholders including lenders, real estate agents, solicitors and accountants.
  • Prepare lender submissions notes and loan structures.

Requirements

  • At least 3-year’s experience in the Australian mortgage broking industry as a credit analyst or Parabroker.
  • Experience with the CRM Broker Engine or Sales Trekker and Applyonline.
  • High attention to detail and extremely organized
  • Great at managing workload and prioritising tasks where necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent English comprehension and fluency with good attention to grammar and spelling can-do attitude with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to work collaboratively and be driven as a team player

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
