Senior Litigation Associate / Partner – Toxic Tort & Asbestos Defense

A sophisticated litigation practice is seeking experienced California attorneys to join its Toxic Tort and Asbestos Defense team.

This opportunity is open to both Associate and Partner-level attorneys with meaningful asbestos and/or toxic tort litigation experience who can contribute with minimal training.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage toxic tort and asbestos litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, reports, and case evaluations
• Take and defend fact and expert depositions
• Prepare matters for mediation, arbitration, settlement conferences, and trial
• Work directly with clients, experts, and litigation teams

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar membership
• Minimum 2+ years of litigation experience
• Asbestos and/or toxic tort litigation experience required for serious consideration
• Strong deposition and legal writing skills
• Ability to independently manage litigation matters

Location

• California-based candidates preferred
• Hybrid, remote, and in-office arrangements available

Compensation

• Partner: Approximately $190,000–$250,000+
• Discretionary bonus opportunity

Salary Range: $190,000–$250,000
