What You’ll Do
- Handle contract disputes, provider litigation, and overpayment recovery.
- Conduct detailed claims analysis across large datasets.
- Perform legal research and draft motions to compel and dismiss.
- Handle extensive discovery.
- Manage a large docket of 200+ active cases with a high level of responsiveness.
- Assist with arbitration preparation and behind-the-scenes legal work.
What They’re Looking For
- The top priorities are strong professional judgment, work ethic, and dependability. You should have strong legal writing skills and the ability to bill time.
- Defense-side litigation experience, including insurance defense or medical malpractice, is preferred. Plaintiff-side, workers’ compensation, and lemon law backgrounds are not the target profile.
- You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, getting granular with research and case analysis, and learning healthcare-specific subject matter.
Compensation & Bonus
- $125,000–$180,000+ base salary DOE
- $10,000 bonus at 2,000 billable hours
- Additional $10,000 for every 100 hours thereafter
- 1,800 annual billable-hour requirement

Work Arrangement
- 100% remote, with candidates required to remain in the same time zone. The team is open to 2–3 annual team lunches and a holiday party.
Requirements
