The Opportunity

A well-established, multi-office law firm in Southern California is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney for its Los Angeles office. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a full caseload while continuing to build litigation experience through direct client interaction, case strategy development, and regular court involvement in a structured, in-office environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Handle a full caseload (approximately 40 active matters) from intake to resolution
• Conduct consultations and convert prospective clients
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents
• Manage discovery and negotiations
• Represent clients in court and litigation proceedings
• Work on matters involving divorce, custody, adoption, spousal support, and domestic violence

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of Family Law or Civil Litigation experience (1+ year considered)
• Experience with depositions and court appearances preferred
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Commitment to managing a full caseload

Compensation Structure

• Base salary range: $100,000 – $150,000
• Structured bonus program

Work Expectations

• 1850 billable hours annually
• Monday–Friday schedule, starting at 9:00 a.m.
