What You'll Do
- Draft and review sophisticated estate planning documents, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives.
- Advise clients on customized estate planning strategies and serve as their trusted legal advisor.
- Handle trust administration matters, as applicable.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Manage matters independently while collaborating with attorneys and support staff.
- Meet an attainable annual billable target of approximately 1,300 hours, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
What You'll Bring
- Active California Bar license in good standing.
- At least 3 years of California estate planning experience.
- Trust administration experience is preferred.
- Experience advising high-net-worth individuals is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills.
- Ability to independently manage files while working collaboratively within a team.
Compensation & Bonus
- Base Salary: $130,000–$160,000, depending on experience.
- Higher compensation available for more senior candidates.
- Productivity bonus tied to approximately 1,300 annual billable hours.
- 10% origination bonus for new business generated.
- Additional bonus opportunities available.
Hybrid Work Schedule

- 3 days in the San Rafael office
- 2 days working remotely
