Mission Recruiting is partnering with a Southern California plaintiff-side law firm to identify an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney seeking meaningful courtroom experience and hands-on litigation responsibility.

This role offers immediate exposure to depositions, motion practice, court appearances, and trial preparation while working alongside experienced litigators committed to mentorship and professional development.

What You’ll Do

• Manage employment litigation matters from intake through resolution
• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial materials
• Take and defend depositions
• Appear in court and argue motions
• Support mediation, arbitration, and settlement efforts
• Assist with trial preparation and second-chair responsibilities

Qualifications

• Active California Bar membership
• At least 1 year of civil litigation experience
• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative environment
• Employment law experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $130,000–$180,000+

Hybrid schedule based in Irvine with three to four in-office days and one-two remote days weekly.
