Mission Recruiting is partnering with a premier plaintiff-side employment law firm to identify a Law and Motion Attorney with substantial experience in California employment litigation. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who thrives on legal writing, strategic motion practice, and shaping litigation outcomes through persuasive advocacy.

What You Will Do

• Draft and argue dispositive motions, oppositions, replies, and appellate briefs
• Handle motion practice involving wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour matters
• Conduct advanced legal research and strategic legal analysis
• Collaborate closely with trial teams to strengthen litigation strategy
• Support discovery, mediation, and settlement positioning through effective briefing

Qualifications

• Active California Bar membership
• Significant experience in employment litigation and law and motion practice
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Deep familiarity with California and federal court procedures
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced litigation environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $220,000–$270,000 plus performance-based commissions
