BASIC FUNCTION:
Serves as internal legal counsel and works with General Counsel to determine legal posture and interests of the Association. Ensures that business practices, policies, and dealings of the association meet regulatory requirements and applicable policies and procedures governing business practices. Responsible for supporting the Risk Management function. Manages and maintains the Association’s bylaws, policies and procedures manual, and processes for policy/procedure adoption, publishing and review.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
EDUCATION: Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. Successful completion of the state bar examination and qualified to practice law in the state.
EXPERIENCE: At least one to three years of law practice.
SENSORY AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have ability to read documents from many sources.
Must be able to communicate audibly in and with staff, customers and general public.
