Job Description

REQ6388 Attendant, Store Room (Open)

In-charge of receiving and quality inspection of all incoming products ensuring that they are up to Hotel’s standards. Is responsible for distribution of goods and inventory control.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for receiving, storing, assembling, packing and/or unpacking of goods as well as delivering goods from the store.
  • Ensure all goods and hazardous chemicals are stored as per OSH health and safety requirements.
  • Maintain equipment in a clean and serviceable condition in accordance with the recommended operating practices.
  • Ensure maximum security of all storerooms and that no unauthorised person enters the store or is issued with a key allowing access.
  • Report to Supervisor on any spoilage or damaged goods.
  • Keep the storeroom clean and tidy

Experience

  • Prior experience in a similar capacity in a 5-star hotel but not essential

    Education (please indicate minimum and preferred academic requirements)

  • High school or equivalency.

Skills / Competencies

  • Must be able to understand and communicate oral/written instructions in Cantonese.
  • Knowledge of store duties
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
