NOTICE OF VACANCY
Extra-Curricular Professional Position

Position Title: Attendance SAT Site Coordinator – MVS Grades 5-8

  • Successful applicant will provide professional assistance to students through assisting in the organization, scheduling, conducting and following-up on SAT referrals, meetings, implementation and completion of the SAT process.
  • Additional duties will include scheduling and preparing for 5-day attendance meetings.
  • Must be available to work with teachers, administration, and the School Based Probation Officer and Community in School Liaison in the scheduling of SAT meetings to provide the least possible disruption to instruction.
  • Will work with the School Based Probation Officer, Attendance Director, and Community in Schools Liaison to create plans for students to attend school every day.
  • Will serve under the immediate supervision of the school principal and designee.
  • Quarterly activity reports are to be submitted to Monroe County Director of Special Education.
  • Knowledge of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports process and ability to communicate process to the SAT team.
  • Other duties as assigned by the superintendent as directly related to this position.


Qualifications Valid WV Teaching Certificate. Previous SAT Experience preferred.

Effective Date 2026-2027 School Year

Salary Successful Applicant will be paid $1,250 - half after first semester and half after second semester.
