Role: ATM Security Technical Lead
Location: Dundee (Hybrid)
Grade: 13
Salary: £64,000 - £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits
We are looking for an experienced technical lead to coordinate ATM security activities across NCR Atleos products and solutions.
This is not a traditional cybersecurity role and it is not purely a physical security role. The position sits across multiple engineering disciplines and covers everything from encryption and authentication technologies through to physical attacks against ATMs, fraud devices and emerging criminal attack methods.
The successful candidate will work with subject matter experts across mechanical engineering, electronics, firmware, software, encryption, safes, locks and fraud prevention technologies to investigate threats, assess vulnerabilities and help define future security solutions.
We're looking for someone with a broad technical background spanning multiple engineering disciplines, strong problem-solving skills and a genuine interest in understanding how products work, how they fail and how they can be protected.
You do not need to be the expert in every area, but you should be capable of bringing the right experts together, challenging assumptions and helping drive effective technical solutions.
Experience in some of the following areas would be beneficial:
The successful candidate is likely to have a broad engineering background and an interest in security rather than a purely IT security background.
This role would suit someone who enjoys learning across multiple technical disciplines and is comfortable working with specialists covering areas such as encryption, firmware, electronics, safes, locks, sensors and fraud prevention technologies.
We're looking for someone who is practical, technically curious and able to connect the dots between physical security, electronics, software and emerging attack techniques.
This role is unlikely to suit candidates whose experience is limited to traditional IT security disciplines such as network security, SOC operations or compliance activities. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working across physical security, electronics, embedded systems, software, firmware and fraud prevention technologies.
