We are looking for an Atlassian Administrator based in Latin America to work on a long-term project for one of our clients, a Fintech company based in Los Angeles, California.
Our client is on a mission to build products that level the financial playing field. Their banking app helps millions of members bank, budget, find work, build credit, and access up to $500 advances without paying a fee.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support Atlassian tools, including Jira Service Management, Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Product Discovery (JPD).
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand real-world use cases and translate them into effective solutions.
- Design, configure, and optimize workflows, projects, and schemes within Jira to align with business processes.
- Manage and maintain Confluence spaces, ensuring structured, scalable, and user-friendly documentation.
- Provide hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of Atlassian environments.
- Act as a bridge between technical capabilities and business needs, ensuring solutions are practical and scalable.
- Implement best practices for governance, permissions, and system organization across Atlassian tools.
- Support ongoing system enhancements, integrations, and automation initiatives.
- Train and guide users on best practices to maximize tool adoption and efficiency.
Requirements
- Advanced Level of English.
- Hands-on experience administering Atlassian tools (Jira Service Management, Jira Software, Confluence, and JPD).
- Demonstrated track record of working directly with business stakeholders on real-world use cases.
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into workflow design, project configuration, and scalable solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in Jira configuration, including project setup (boards, schemes, custom fields), workflow design and management, automation rules (global and project-level), and dashboards and filters.
- Experience with JSM service project administration and Jira native forms.
- Familiarity with marketplace apps (evaluation and implementation).
- Solid understanding of Confluence structure, content organization, and collaboration best practices.
- Comfortable working both in technical administration and cross-functional collaboration environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on practical, user-centered solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
